 Dr. McNeil, who has headed the Music Education program at the University of California at Davis and taught courses in ethnomusicology at the University of Southern California for 12 years, is perhaps best known for his work with the Jubilee Singers. This private choral group has performed in more than 70 countries in addition to a score of transcontinental tours of the United States, Canada and Hawaii.
Other highlights of his career include serving as Vocal Director-Conductor of the 40th Annual Christmas Candlelight Procession at Disneyland and on several occasions conducting the famed "Mormon Tabernacle Choir" on their Sunday morning broadcast. |
