Bob Ralston — Organist/Pianist/Accompanist

The organist and pianist at Founder's is Bob Ralston, a position he assumed in 1988. Bob is probably best known for his 38 years as pianist/organist/arranger with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra. Reruns of that TV show are still shown every week in most major U.S. cities.

Each Sunday Ralston can be heard playing the Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ during the prelude prior to the 10:00 a.m. service, accompanying the Founder's Cathedral Choir, and in concert at intervals throughout the year.
Ralston has served as accompanist/arranger and/or Musical Director to a variety of fine singers, including Nat "King" Cole, Eddie Fisher, Gogi Grant, Robert Guillaume, Jerome Hines, and George Beverly Shea. He has recorded 27 solo albums and over 300 albums as a studio musician.
